Mary Ellen Hicks

Mary Ellen Hicks, age 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Clarksville while surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Ellen entered into this life on May 8, 1928 in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late William and Mary Grimes Ingram. She was retired from the Dept. of Health Education & Welfare and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her son, Robert Armistead, and her siblings, William, Eugene, Anna Mae, Daniel, Raymond, and Dorothy. Survivors include her children, Calvin Armistead, Jr., Ricardo Armistead, Sr., and Sheryl Woodson; and siblings, James Norris, Lilly Roberts, George Norris, Patricia Williams, and Timothy Norris. She was also the loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren.
