Mary Ann Farrar, age 76, of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. David Fambrough officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and 1:30 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at Memorial Baptist Church.
Mary entered this life on May 10, 1936 in Glasgow, Kentucky, daughter to Monte and Mahala Center Emberton. She was a faithful member of the church family at Memorial Baptist Church where she was a part of the Sr. Adult Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie M. Poindexter and second husband, the Rev. John Farrar; and children, Harold Lee Poindexter and Mahala White. She leaves behind her sons, Lonnie Poindexter of Laytonville, CA and Mike Poindexter of Leggett, CA; daughters, Lisa Poindexter of Palmyra, Linda Jungquist of Clarksville, and Leilani Fagel of Las Vegas, NV; and children by marrriage, Johnny Farrar, Gayle Bechtold, Elizabeth LeVelle, and Debbie Peters. She was the grandmother to several beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
