Mack was born on May 8, 1954, in Galveston, TX. He was raised in California and spent nearly his whole life on the West Coast, between central California and western Washington. He was a 1973 graduate from Lincoln High School. As a young man he joined the United States Air Force and served stateside for one four year term, getting honorably discharged in 1977. He married Becky in 1984 and enjoyed 40 years of marriage with his best friend. Together they raised their four beautiful daughters, Melissa, Jessica, Kelly, and Katie. No matter where he lived, you could find him engaged with a vibrant church community, enthusiastically playing drums on the worship team. He was a bold witness for Jesus, being a first generation Christian. He would happily tell you he was a third generation Giants fan as well. He spent most of his working years as a salesman, particularly in real estate, among many other things. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf and throwing horse shoes. Mack was a practical joker, never met a stranger, and easily remembered names and details of his many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil James McKindley and Joyce Gayle McKindley.

Survivors include his loving wife, Becky McKindley, daughters Melissa Burton (David), Jessica Price (Andrew), Kelly Peake (Stephen), and Kathryn Paul (Patric); his two sisters, Lauri McKindley (Elizabeth Newman), and Patti McKindley (Tracy Hollis).

Mack also leaves behind his 15 beloved grandchildren, and is fondly remembered by all McKindley’s of Stockton and Lodi Valley.

Pallbearers will be David Burton, Anson Price, Stephen Peake, Patric Paul, Daniel Wilson, Peter Ambler.
