Marilyn Downing

Marilyn Jane Downing, age 93, of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, August 20th, 2023.
A gathering of family and friends for a graveside service will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery.
Marilyn entered this life on February 7th, 1930 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late John and Mabel Kelsen. She was a member of New Providence Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and recently has attended  Dotsonville Baptist Church. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Downing and son, Steve Downing.
Survivors include her children, John R. (Lisa) Downing, Cynthia (George) Wilson, Keri (Stan) Barnes; Grandchildren, Curtis Barnes, Dustin Barnes, Jarrod Wilkerson, Nathan Wilkerson, James Downing, Danielle McCoy, and Natalie Cole, and seven Great-Grandchildren, and late in life partner, Luther Moorehead
