Margerie Louise Sumner, 88, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday March 8, 2014. Burial will be in Tatum-Coleman Cemetery in Houston County, TN.
Mrs. Sumner was born January 31, 1926 in Detroit, MI and was preceded in death by her parents, Carl James and Della Coleman Ellis; husband, Arthur Sumner; son, Michael John Sumner; and her daughter, Ilene Sumner.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked in food service at Clarksville Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Pearson, Mary (Edwin) Winn, and Katherine (L. Thomas) Shock; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
