Lt. Rattapong Alex Kaewsiripong, age 25, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025. 

He will be laid to rest with Full US Military Honors at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pike S. Madison, Tennessee 37115.

Rattapong entered this life on June 5, 1999, in Concord, Massachusetts. He grew up playing sports, mainly enjoying football and baseball, carrying his football career into and throughout high school. He also loved snowboarding during the winter months and taught others as an instructor at Nashoba Valley Ski Area.

Rattapong graduated from Acton Boxborough High School in 2017. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, and joined the Reserve Officers' Training Corps. Rattapong went on to join the United States Army, where he gained more brothers for life. He was lovingly known as “Pong” and “Ratman” by those who knew him best. Rattapong always loved the gym and was fittingly known as a “gym rat” amongst his friends. He was also a New England Patriots fan, loved Dont'a Hightower, and his favorite player of all time was Taylor Rapp.

His other interests included the Mandalorian, the GHOST Lifestyle brand, coffee, Cabela’s, country music, and rucking. He was famous amongst his friends for looking “tacticool” in his many sunglasses. Rattapong also loved a good chant. Most importantly, Rattapong inspired others to reach their maximum potential every single day. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Srirath Kaewsiripong.

Survivors include his mother, Prayong Techasouvapak; dear friends, Nick McCarthy, Mike Sarnelli, and Ben Kendrick; those he served within Bravo Company, 2-327 Infantry Battalion; his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other countless friends who will miss him dearly.
