Lois Mai Yarbrough Guinn, of Cunningham, passed away at her daughter's home on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 85 years of age.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in the Yarbrough Cemetery.
The Guinn family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Lois entered into this life on December 10, 1928 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, daughter to the late Marvin Jones Yarbrough and Etha W. Biter Yarbrough. She was active in Girl Scouts for over 28 years and was a loving mother to all who came her way.
In addition to her parents Lois was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Burns, brothers Staton and Bill Yarbrough, and the father of her children, Edward Guinn.
Survivors include her children, Beverly Guinn, Betty Jane (Johnny) Blackwell, Randy (Patty) Guinn, and Ronnie Guinn; grandchildren, Kenneth (Sharon) Blackwell, Jamey (Sandy) Guinn, Chris (Teresa) Guinn, Brandi (Wayne) Jackson, Chasity Burns; and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Aileen Mickle and Laverne Heflin.
Pallbearers will be Chris Guinn, Jamey Guinn, Travis Guinn, Mason Jackson, Billy Jackson, and Kenneth Blackwell.
