Lloyd L.G. Ray

Lloyd Gregory “LG” Ray SR, age 83 of Erin, TN, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Ray family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday morning. Masonic rites will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night at the funeral home.
LG entered this life on September 10, 1932 in Cadiz, KY, son to the late Anna Lucille Ray Mosier. LG retired from Southern Gage, and was a self employed electrician where he served his community for many years. He was a Master 32nd degree Mason-Scottish rite, York rite, past Master of both Wisdom Lodge 300 and Charity Lodge 370, an honorary member of Cotton Valley 345, and a lifelong Shriner.
In addition to his mother, LG was preceded in death by his step-father, Elvis C. Mosier.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Estelle Ray; sons, Kenneth Gregory Ray, Thomas L. Ray (Elizabeth), Todd A. Ray (Patricia), David Schmidt (Brenda), Lloyd Gregory Ray JR. (Sherry); daughter, Lisa Buchanan (Scotty); brothers, Frank Ray (Cathy), James Ray (Judy), Billy Ray (Jill); fifteen grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren.
LG’s masonic brothers will serve as pallbearers.
