Linda Moore

Linda Gail Goolsby Moore, age 67, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Larry. Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Linda entered this life on May 21, 1958 in Virginia to the late John Henry Goolsby and Darlene Guy Goolsby. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. In her spare time, she found joy in shopping trips with her sister and cherishing moments with her grandchildren. Her family lovingly referred to her as “Alice” after the beloved character from The Brady Bunch, reflecting her caring and nurturing nature as a true caretaker. Linda's compassionate heart was especially notable in her dedication to the special needs community and her efforts to assist those grappling with addiction. She had a profound desire to help others and touched many lives through her generous spirit. As an Officer’s wife, she embraced the challenges and joys of military life, sharing in the experiences of travel during her husband's eight years of service. Linda also had a special love for her beloved pup, Bella, who was like a child to her. Her bond with her family was evident in the snuggles and kisses she exchanged with her children and grandchildren, moments she treasured and held dear.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Donnie Byard, and Patricia Goolsby Gregory, and sister-in-law, Brenda Byard.

Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Christopher David Moore, Sr.; son, Christopher David Moore, Jr. (Emily); daughter, Tisha Dawn Ashlock (Todd); special niece, Candice Byard Seay (Patrick); siblings, Danny Byard, Larry Goolsby (Barbara), and Carol Bracey (Dean); brother-in-law, Larry Gregory; sister-in-law, Barbara Byard; grandchildren, Kyle Christopher Moore, Lainey Grace Ashlock, Talon Cooper Ashlock, Bodie Cruz Ashlock, Alyssa Janae Ashlock, Kylie Elizabeth Marinelli, Alexander Phillip Ashlock, Sullivan Joseph Moore, Casey Christopher Moore, Alayna Taylor, Leo Davis, Wyatt Davis, and Callum Davis; great-grandchildren, Kyle Christopher Moore, Jr., Dawson Chandler Roberts, Wynter Magnolia Roberts, Sonny Caruso Gabrielli, Camden Jack Marinelli, Koen Alexander Marinelli, and MacKenzie James Marinelli. Linda was also a beloved aunt and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
