Leroy "Woody" Woodard, 78, Clarksville, died Friday, February 15, 2008, at McKenzie Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 29, 1929 in Lauderdale Co., TN, son of the late James Woodard and the late Bessie Lou Jackson Woodard. Mr. Woodard was a Baptist, retired from the U.S. Navy and retired from Trane as a supervisor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Mae Smallwood Woodard and his brother, James Woodard. Survivors include a sister, Helen Sammons, nieces Pam Diaz and Donna Reaves, and a nephew, David Briggs.
Pallbearers will be Frank Diaz, Joseph Diaz, David Briggs, Matt David Briggs, Tom Sammons, and Phillip Reaves.
