Lela Lisenbee

Lela Beatrice Outlaw Lisenbee, 97, Woodlawn, went to be with the Lord Friday October 19, 2012.
A celebration of life will be held 1p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Haynes Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend C.P. Long officiating. Burial will be at Haynes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and 10a.m. Tuesday until the hour of service.
Mrs. Lisenbee was born May 19, 1916 in Montgomery County, TN daughter of the late Buck and Laura Elliott Outlaw. Also preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Lisenbee; her son, Robert L. Lisenbee; her daughters, Hattie L. Lisenbee Fyke and Ora Lee Lisenbee; her brothers, Charlie Outlaw Sr., Bobby Outlaw, Elliott Outlaw, John Outlaw, Buck Outlaw Jr., and Gordon Outlaw; sisters, Aggie Boyd and Rosie Head.
Mrs. Lisenbee was a Mother on Mother’s Board, Deaconist, on the Culinary Committee, Pastor’s Aide Committee, graduate of Montgomery County School, and a lifelong member of Haynes Chapel Baptist Church. She loved being outside in her rose garden and also loved to can, quilt, knit, bake, and help anyone in need.
She is survided by her grandson George Fyke and sister-in-law Miss Ruby Outlaw.
Pallbearers will be Tony Eldridge, JP Mobley, Tyronne Mobley, Johnny Outlaw, Timmy Harris, and Elliott Outlaw Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are the Trustee Board and the Deacon Board.
