Laura Louise Cook, age 94, went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2014 at her daughter’s home.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday and on Monday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Laura entered this life on June 17, 1919 in Montgomery County and was the daughter of Tommy Armstrong and Susan Elizabeth Dewberry Armstong. She was a loving wife and mother and she was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, John Wesley Darden, and her second husband, Norris A. Cook; and sisters, Jospehine Hodges, and Ollie Hilderbrand.
Survivors include her son, Robert Darden and wife Anne; daughter, Linda Howell and her husband Jim; sister, Catherine Cook of Clarksville; grandchild, Rhonda Lane Burrell; great grandchildren, Alanea Susan Burrell and Laura Elizabeth Burrell.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
