Larry Arnold Self

Larry Arnold Self, age 78 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.

A Celebration of Life Service will held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley and Brian Self officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with full military honors.

The Self family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until; 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon at the funeral home.

Larry entered this life on September 18, 1946 in Allen Park, MI, son to the late Grover and Margarite Self. Larry had a love for singing and playing the guitar, and was a previous member of Erin Church of God of Prophecy. Larry currently attended Erin Holiness Church where he very much loved his church family.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his siblings, Karen Self, Sheila Self, and Terry Self.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Dianne Self; children, Machell (Allen) Johnson, Dawn Neal, Brian (Bethany) Self; siblings, Claudette Johnson, Darlene Tanner, and Kenneth (Dottie) Self. Larry also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Ashton (Drew) Boyd, Caden Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Chase Self, Lari (Jacob) Higgins, Emma Barritt, Brison Self, Brayden Self, Kiya Barritt, Michael Barritt, Kodi Calorio; great-grandchildren, Belle Boyd, J.D. Boyd, Khole Self, Brantley Higgins, Addi Higgins, and Charli Barritt.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
