Larry Monroe Adkins

Larry Monroe Adkins, age 84 of Erin, TN, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.

Larry entered this life on October 17, 1942 in Erin, TN, son to the late Carmack Adkins and Hettie Mai Adkins. Larry faithfully served his country in the United States Navy and retired after a fruitful career as a supervisor with the Circuit Court of Wayne County, MI. Larry was an avid Elvis fan who had a tremendous sense of humor, something that made him an excellent joke teller. He had a love for the peace and serenity that the country provides; he will greatly missed by those that loved and knew him.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Adkins; siblings, Bessie Jones, and George Edward Adkins.

Survivors include his loving children, Lori Moreno, Theresa (Michael) Tucker, William Adkins; grandchildren, Emilio Burgos, Santino Burgos, Francesca Moreno, Cecilia Adkins, Brittney Tucker, Steffany Tucker, Colton Tucker; great-grandchildren, Azela VanDenburgh, and Elysia VanDenburgh.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
