Kenneth Wayne Dennis

Kenneth Wayne Dennis, age 74 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away July 25, 2026 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Taylor and Bro. Chuck Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Ben Brown Cemetery.

The Dennis family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday morning.

Kenneth entered this life on April 10, 1952 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Johnny Dennis and Pearl Durham Dennis. Kenneth retired after a 50 plus year career as a heavy equipment operator, something he took great pride in. He enjoyed tinkering with anything that needed to be maintained and or fixed; there was nothing he couldn’t do. Through all of his many accomplishments, his true passion in life was spending time with his babies; he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, George Dennis, and sister-in-law, Tillie Dennis.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Faye Laxton Dennis; sons, Darian (Farrah) Dennis, Malik Sylvester; step-son, Dwayne Ray; brothers, John Dennis, Tommy (Mary Jo) Dennis, Donnie (Susan) Dennis, Ronnie (Cheryl) Dennis, Kathy (Gary) Lowe, and Sandy (Chuck) Steele. Kenneth also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, John Hunter Dennis, Matthew Ray; great-granddaughter, Wrenley Grace Ray; a host of nieces and nephews; along with being Bo Bo to many.

Serving as pallbearers will be Darian Dennis, John Hunter Dennis, Donnie Dennis, John Dennis, Gary Lowe, and Chad Hudson.
