Katherine Gibbs Marino, age 91 of Clarksville passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Spring Meadows Nursing Home.
A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Katherine was born November 11, 1921 in Montgomery County daughter of the late, Harvey and Relzie Toler Gibbs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Marino; sisters, Beatrice Gibbs, Willie Gibbs and Nora Rose; brothers, Curtis Gibbs, Garland Gibbs, Burton Gibbs and James Gibbs.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary Moore of Clarksville, Judy (Bobby) Handley of Christiana, Carol (Doug) Peters and Brenda Keen both of Clarksville; son, Danny (Cindy) Marino of Clarksville; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be, Paul Berrigan, Doug Peters, Bryan Griffey, Pat Rose, Mickey Keen and Bobby Gibbs.
