Joshua L. Crowder, born on March 1, 1985, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and passed away on July 3, 2025 in Christian County, Kentucky. He is survived by his beloved Wife, Dung Brown. Joshua was a devoted Son to his Mother, Teresa Crowder and his Father, Fletcher Crowder. Joshua also leaves behind a close-knit family that includes Children, Jeremiah Crowder and MaKayla Abdullah, his Brother, Stephen Crowder (Shaunice), Mother-in-law, Tina Crittenden, Brothers-in-law, Anh Brown and Vu Brown (Iris), Sister-in-law, Thuy Mock (William), his 97-year-old Grandmother, Katherine Howard, God Daughter, Kenya Anderson, his Auntie, Nellie Okafor, Uncles, Ralph Crowder and Milford Crowder, Great Auntie, Stella Mae Dunn, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will greatly miss him.
Joshua grew up in Clarksville, where he attended Kenwood and Northeast High Schools where he enjoyed playing football and building many friendships that endured over the years. His passion for barbering led him to a long and rewarding career, where he became a respected and skilled professional in his field. He touched the lives of many during his time, building lasting relationships with clients and friends alike. His kindness and dedication to his craft were evident in every interaction. Joshua attended Life Tabernacle Church in Hopkinsville.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, located at 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040. The Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the Celebration of Life that will begin at 2:00 PM with Bros. Bobby Carlton and Duwane Brockman officiating. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Clarksville. Serving as pallbearers are Anthony Lamont Duncan, Avan Shanklin, Antonio Hairston, DeHazel Peden, Kennus Anderson, and Aaron Cunningham. Floral bearers will be Rayniqua Owens and Tammy Brown.
