Jonathan Charles Davis, age 77, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Riley officiating. His remains are to be cremated.
Mr. Davis entered this life on May 26, 1936 in Los Angeles, California, son to the late Charles Wesley Davis and Hazel Porter Davis. He was retired from a career with the city of Los Angeles where he specialized as a Civil Engineer. Mr. Davis was a Quaker.
Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Silva Davis of Clarksville; sons, Jonathan Scott Davis of Angwin, CA, Michael Charles Davis and his wife Michelle of Kailua, HI, and Verano Verde Davis and his wife Brandie of Clarksville; and brothers Darryl Davis and his wife Linnea of Oregon and James Wesley Davis and his wife Ellen Alva Hales of Alameda, CA. He was the loving grandfather of eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
