John Williams

John Edward Williams, 90, Clarksville, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Dr. Michael E. Willams officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. He was born August 21, 1920 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert T. and Betty Ann Harned Williams; wife, Freda Estelle Cherry Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired Mechanic with Civil Service and later worked as a guard at Trane Company. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran. Survivors include his son, Dr. Michael E. (Margaret) Williams; grandchildren, Sarah Williams and Elizabeth Williams, all of Nashville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
