John Wallis, age 58 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 12 p.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
John entered this life on October 21, 1955 in Montgomery County and was the son of the late William King Wallis and Virginia Louise Clardy Wallis. He was employed by CDE for 35 years and most recently a working foreman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Wallis and Bill Wallis.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Wallis; son, John “Bubba” Michael (Lori) Wallis Jr.; daughter, Regina (Eddie) Morris; brothers, Tommy Wallis, Gary Wallis, and David Wallis; sisters, Judy (Barry) Murphy and Carolyn (Bob Golden) Overton; his grandchildren, which were the light of his life, Kayce, Kayla, Michael, and Kaylee; and his beloved dog “Skippy.”
Pallbearers will be Keith Cutshaw, Drew Frey, Randy Harper, Bob Golden, Barry Murphy, and Eddie Morris.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of CDE.
