John R. Sheppard, age 66 of Southside, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Southside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
John was born on August 15, 1947. His parents were the late A.C. Sheppard and Ernstine Broadbent. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from the Fort Campbell Fire Department. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He is survived by sons, J. Daniel Sheppard and John A. Sheppard; and the mother of his sons, Cathy Close.
