John Nicholas Sharp passed on to his Heavenly home on January 17, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born on January 27, 1931 in Knoxville, TN.
Brother Sharp is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lillian Newton Sharp. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was retired from Civil Service where he was a office machine mechanic.
He was a member of Queen City Masonic Lodge #761 for 45 years. He was also a member of Royal Cryptic Masons, Knights Templar, Order of Eastern Star, and Nashville Scottish Rite. He held the elite and honorable Degree of 33rd Degree Mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Martha Jane and William David Sharp as well as siblings Jack, Charles, E.G. and Georgia. He is survived by his brother O'Dell and sister Cressie Underwood. He was blessed with three daughters - Donna (Wayne) Liverett, Della (Stephen) Vickous, Darla (Jerry) Kitchen. He had nine grandchildren; Lori (Steve) Wright, Nick (Missy) Liverett, Luke (Delma) Liverett, Jon (Christie) Vickous, Matthew (Monica) Vickous, Leah (Danny) Smith, Jennifer (Trey) Smith, Jeremy (Erinne) Kitchen, Jake (MIsty) Liverett. He had 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home on Sunday, January 19 from 4:00-7:00 with Masonic Services at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, January 20, the visitation will be from 11:00-2:00 at First Baptist Church (Grace Worship Center) with the funeral services at 2:00. Interment will be at Morning View Cemetery in Bluff City, TN on Tuesday, January 21 at 2:00 p.m.
