Joan Mullens

Joan Mullens, age 77, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Hilldale Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1p.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Joan entered this life on June 22, 1946, in Clarksville, TN to the late Herschel and Lorene Steeley Lehman. She was a Civil Servant at Ft. Campbell where she worked until her retirement. Joan was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church and pastored alongside her husband, Rev. Roy Mullens for over 50 years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy Mullens; daughter, Shannon Mullens; and brother Charles Lehman.

Survivors include her son, Mark Mullens; grandchildren, Tyler Mullens, Lucas (Katie Boles) Mullens; great-grandchildren, Robert Mullens, Brady Banks, and Della Banks; great-niece, Charlie Lehman; brother, John (Linda) Lehman; sister, Patricia Nell Culpepper (Gary); nieces and nephews, Herschel (Mercy) Lehman, Greg (Hope) Harrell, Tammie Leavitt, Zach Culpepper, Kyle Culpepper, Chris (Beth) Lehman, Kim (Rob) Bateman, Clint (Melanie) Lehman, and many other family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Hope House at Hilldale Baptist Church.
