Everyone loved to eat Joan's country cooking, especially her pork dumplings, green beans, cornbread, and pecan pies. She loved to decorate her home for holidays and always raised a vegetable and flower garden. Shopping was her hobby and all her family benefited from her generosity. She loved her family, and their visits were the highlight of her day.
The family would like to thank the caring and capable staff at Palmer Place, Uffelman, Walking Horse, Spring Meadows, and Gentiva Hospice for their care of and concern for Joan during her last years.
