Jessie Dukes

Jessica Leigh Dukes, age 43, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was lovingly known as “Jessie”.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at The Way Church, 812 Tiny Town Road, Clarksville, TN 37042.

Fellowship with the family and friends will follow the service.

Jessie entered this life on February 11, 1982 in Thomaston, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Jessie dedicated her professional life to serving as a client coordinator for the Goodwill Company. Prior to this role, she was the director of Bethany House, and gave herself tirelessly to the restoration of nearly 20 women. This was a testament to her enduring desire to support those in need. Jessie's vibrant personality shone through in all aspects of her life. She possessed a voice that could only be described as angelic and was inspiring to others. Jessie shared her gifts as a cherished member of The Way Church, where she not only found spiritual fulfillment but also built lasting relationships within the community. She walked closely with the Lord and gave all glory to Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Rakestraw.

Family includes her husband, Eric Dukes; children, Ansley Hutchens, Jaden Bluedorn, Olivia Schmidt, Holly Bryant, and Skyliah Daniels; mother, Glenda Callahan Allen and father by marriage, Michael Allen; brother, Lucas Rakestraw. Jessie also leaves behind Dr. Mike Carrigan (Ruth), whom served as a father figure in her life and he considered her a surrogate daughter.
