Jennifer Jeanne Sterling, age 66, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was born in Bordeaux, France, on July 28, 1960, and passed away on October 12, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose life was defined by her unwavering faith in Christ Jesus, her generous heart, and her deep devotion to family.

Jennifer was the daughter of the late Raybourn Taylor and Judy Taylor. She was also blessed with loving parents-in-law, Pete and Leona Sterling. On August 20, 1985, she married Stuart Sterling, beginning a marriage as a proud wife and began a family that remained at the center of her life.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Stuart Sterling; her children, Sean Sterling and Desiree Taylor; and her cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Isabel, Sophia, and Maya Sterling. She is also survived by her siblings, Myrna (Jeff) Bray, Raeitta Chamblee, Yolanda Ramirez (Roland Olivares), Angela (Gilbert) Alvarado, and Rodney Goodson, along with a vast number of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her siblings Ruby Karen Taylor Davis, Reba Taylor Muhlnickel, Molly Washington, Sheila Taylor Cox, and Earl Goodson.

Jennifer had a natural desire to care for others. She had a wholesome, loving spirit and a heart that always seemed to have room for one more person. She became a role model and mentor to countless individuals whose lives were touched by her kindness.

During the early years of her family's life, Jennifer helped support her family by caring for children with the same love and attention she gave her own family. She devoted much of her time to her children, creating memories and offering the kind of love, guidance, and support that would remain with them always.

Jennifer also gave her time in service to others. She worked with FEMA on disaster response efforts through a Community Emergency Response Team, offering assistance when people needed it the most, demonstrating her dedication, skill, and willingness to take on meaningful work wherever she was needed.

Jennifer was a devoted Christian whose faith in Christ Jesus was the foundation of her life. Having made a profession of faith, she sought to live in a way that reflected God's love. Her faith was more than words; it was evident in every aspect of her life.

She was funny, outgoing, and had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome. Jennifer never met a stranger, a quality she inherited from her father. Her warmth could brighten a room, and her ability to connect with people made friendships that lasted a lifetime.

When she was not caring for others, Jennifer enjoyed quilting and gardening, finding joy in creating beautiful things and nurturing life around her. But above all, her Lord and Savior was her greatest strength and deepest love. She treasured the time she spent with family and those closest to her and built her life around making sure that they knew they were loved.

Jennifer was deeply cherished in life, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. She will be desperately missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She touched so many people.

Her love will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind, her faith will continue to inspire them, and her memory will be treasured forever.
