Jeffery Alan Hastings

Jeffery Alan Hastings, age 81 of Clarksville TN, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at his home.

Jeffery was born February 26, 1945, in Elyria Lurain, Ohio, to the late Robert and Nancy Hastings. He was a proud Veteran who served his country honorably from October 24, 1966, to May 31, 1969. He bravely served overseas in Vietnam where he received many Army Commendations for his service.

Following his military service, Jeffery proudly continued a life of service through his career with the United States Postal Service, where he worked for 30 years. He was known for his dedication, dependability, and commitment to his work. Through both his military and professional careers, Jeffery made a lasting impact on the people and communities he served.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife; Sue Ann Hastings, who he married in June of 1971.

He is survived locally by his caring niece; Tiffany Easton.
