J.B. Allbert, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Reverends David Mackens and Harold Batson officiating. Burial will follow at the Liverworth Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
The Allbert family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
J.B. entered into this life on June 14, 1932 in Montgomery County, son of the late Daily and Louise Coke Allbert. He was retired from a career in construction. J.B. was a lifetime member of the Montgomery County Conservation Club and was a member of the church family at Liverworth Church of God of Prophecy.
J.B. was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Allbert, his sister, Bobbie Weakley and his brother, Robert Allen Allbert. Survivors include his children, Randy Allbert and wife Vicki, James Allbert and wife Carman, Shelia Smith and husband Willie, and June Dobbs, brothers, Kenneth and Jerry Allbert, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Allbert, Clayton Allbert, Tommy Allbert, Josh Smith, Keith Allbert, Joe Reeves, and Mark Allbert.
