Janell Hughes

Janell Hughes, age 74, of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at her residence. She was born December 20, 1939 in Erin, TN, daughter of the late Bill Finch and Pearl Robertson Finch. Mrs. Janell was a member of Erin Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, J.T. Finch; one sister, Carol Finch Dennis; and one grandchild, Alexandra Paige Hughes. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. David Hardin and Bro. Spencer Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, and from 8 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.. Survivors include her husband, Billy Jim Hughes of Erin, TN; one son, Billy Jim Hughes II of Erin, TN; one daughter, Gina McMillan of Erin, TN; two brothers, William Finch, and Bruce Finch both of MI; two sisters, Shirley Wadie of MI and Pam Moore of FL; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Serving as Pallbearers will be Mike McMillan, Tyler McMillan, Tate McMillan, Adam Wadie, Tony Wadie, Lewis Dew, Jimmy Milton and Eddie (Buss) Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Houston County High School Class of 1957.
