James William Bryant

James William Bryant of Clarksville TN passed away October 27, 2026, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Clarksville at the age of 34.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor at 2:00 PM at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The Bryant family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Sunnyview Baptist Church Cemetery.

James was born February 21, 1992, in Montgomery County. James worked in security at Google, a profession he truly enjoyed and took pride in. He was a graduate of Northwest High School, class of 2010. In his free time, James enjoyed bowling, playing airsoft, and fishing, as well as spending time doing the things that brought him happiness. He was of the Chistian faith.

James will be remembered as a loving son, partner, brother, nephew, and as a good friend.

James is preceded in death by his loving grandparents as well as his two best friends; Will Howard and Tom Hobbs.

James’s memory is cherished by his loving and devoted family, his parents; Betty and Barry Gordon, the love of his life; Maranda Fleenor, his brother; Joshua Bryant and his wife Christina, his grandparents; Mammy and Pop Pop, his aunt Leonia Grode, and his uncle Fred Crider Jr, as well as his nephews; Isaiah and Frankie and his nieces; ZayAnn and Alexandria.

He will also be remembered by his many more aunts & uncles.

Serving as pallbearers are; Joshua Bryant, Chris Stout, Jacob Gruenzher, Justus Fleenor, Brent Apodaca, Ray Martin, and Tim Grode.
