James Steeley

James E. Steeley, age 95, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at his home.
Services with Full US Army Honors will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the cemetery.
James entered this life on July 29, 1928, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Calvin and Sophie Steeley. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and was a retired supervisor from Civil Service. James was Pentecostal.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Stanley Steeley and the mother of his children, Mabel Steeley, and son, Stephen Wayne Steeley.
Survivors include his children, David Michael Steeley (Joyce) of Hopkinsville, KY, James Douglas Steeley (Emma) of Mt. Juliet, and Richard Steeley of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, including Stephanie Page, eleven great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Christine Farmer and Irene Renshaw.
