James Rogers `Jimmy` Herrell, 56, Cumberland Furnace, died Monday, June 23, 2008, at Trinity Hospital in Erin, TN. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Wayne Shelby officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 26, 1951 in Montgomery County son of Clarance M. and Melinda Wall Herrell. Mr. Herrell was retired from Trane Company, a member of Lee's Chapel Church of Christ and a member of Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department, where he had formally served as Fire Chief. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sandquist Herrell; son, Clarence "Sam" Herrell; daughter, Dawn Albee; brothers, C.D. Herrell, Bradley Herrell, Mitchell Herrell; sisters, Betty Neblett, Ruth Hagewood, Linda Groves; grandson, Dillon Herrell.
