James Harbinson

James William Harbinson, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Cal Hampton officiating. He will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. James' family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.

James entered into this life on February 1, 1955, in Louisiana to the late Matthew James Harbinson and Betty Jo Watson Harbinson. James was a veteran of the US military. James loved people. He enjoyed doing anything that involved his family or his friends and in his later years he lived a simple life. He was a loyal friend and if you were gifted with his friendship you never had to wonder if you were loved. He greeted everyone he seen with excitement and it didn’t matter if he already knew you or it was the first time he met you. He was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by his niece, her husband, his great niece and nephew and his never ending list of friends because he never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his siblings, Rebecca and Michael Harbinson.

He is survived by his niece and her husband, Kristen and Ryan Sandmire, and his great niece and great nephew, Laney and Brooks.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
