James Lee Foley, age 73, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Full military honors will be rendered. The remains are to be interred at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
James entered this life on November 12, 1939 in Missouri, son of the late Hugo and Geneva Broyles Foley. He was retired from the U.S. Army with 23 years distinguished service. Following his service to country James worked as a boiler operator at the former Memorial Hospital. He was a Christian and member of the VFW Post #4895, Clarksville.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Foley, who departed this life earlier this year. Survivors include his son, Kenneth Foley and his wife Juana Lucia of Visalia, CA, grandchildren, Kenny, Benjamin, and Emilia, and siblings, Bob Foley of Enid, OK, Elizabeth Burton of Lindsey, CA and Judy Jerred of Enid, OK.
