James Earl Williams

James "Earl" Williams, age 87 of Erin, TN, passed away July 25, 2025 at Houston County Community Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Harriett Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The Williams family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.

Earl entered this life on March 17, 1938 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Thomas Alton Williams and Ruth Luella Ross Williams. Earl proudly served his country in the United States National Guard and would later retire as a boilermaker from TVA after 30 plus years of service. Following his retirement, Earl continued with his tremendous work ethic staying busy working in his garden, hunting, and watching his baseball. However, his true passion in life was his family; he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Ray Williams, and George Percy Williams.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Patsy Ann Williams; children, Tony James (Teresa) Williams, Tina Ann (Jeff) Berry; and brother, Bobby Neal Williams. Earl also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Kimberly (Nick) Gordan, Trevor (Morgan) Williams, Austin Berry, Terann Williams, Connor Berry, Tucker Williams; great-grandchildren, Genevieve Gordan, and Gianna Gordan.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
