James D. Bolin

James D. Bolin, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The Bolin family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Thomas Springs Cemetery, Crossville, Tennessee, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
James entered into this life on January 29, 1948 in Crossville, Tennessee to the late J.D. and Emma Bolin. He was a truck driver and a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his son, Michael Wayne Johnson; granddaughter, Michaela L. Johnson; and sisters, Carol Parr, Kay Sisk, and Lois Vandergriff.
He is survived by his sons, Jeremy D. Bolin, Jason D. Bolin, and Brandon Mercer; the mother of his children, friend, and caretaker, Penny Smith Bolin; grandchildren, Emma Louise Bolin, Michael Trey Johnson, and James Dylan; and siblings, Carl D. Bolin, Darl G. Bolin (Helen), and Velma J. Sherrell (Cecil); and several nieces and nephews.
