James Bowers

James Doyle Bowers, age 67 of Clarksville, passed away on, April 6, 2014.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Blooming Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Blooming Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
James entered this life on July 21, 1946 in Montgomery County and was the son of Buford Oscar Bowers and Izorah Smith Bowers. He worked for Acme Boot Company and served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Survivors include his brother, Michael Bowers and his wife Diann.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Bowers, Mike Bowers, Billy Manners Jr., Billy Manners Sr., Harold Bowers, and Bill Carr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
