James Beal, 79, of Erin, TN passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013 at Bradley's Pleasure Cemetery in Nancy, KY with full military honors. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Beal was born January 5, 1934 in Trezvant, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Elgie and Margaret Stokes Beal; and his wife of 48 years, Caridene Wilson Beal.
He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and later retired from Memorial Hospital after 24 years of service. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Ellis (Gracie) Beal, Erin, Michael Wayne Beal, Springfield; daughter, Sheila (Lou) Beal Wurzer, Clarksville; brother, Elgie Beal Jr., Stanford, CT; grandchildren, Courtney (Tyler) Chatham, Marlee (Curtis Lamberth) Beal, Anna Beal, Britney (Damien) Moss; great-grandchildren, Bransen Chatham, Weston Lamberth, Breana Moss, Donovan Moss and Sean Moss.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
