Jack Rye

Johnnie Jackson (Jack) Rye 70, passed away Monday September 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1941 in Houston County, TN. son of the late Rube Rye and Virl Adams Rye. He was preceded in death by his sister Betty Johnston. He was a member of Griffin’s Chapel Nazarene Church and a Cattle farmer. A celebration of his life will be 1pm Thursday at Griffin’s Chapel with Rev. Ernie Arnold officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30pm until 8pm Wednesday and from 10am until service Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Rye Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Gloria Hamrick Rye , one daughter Jackie Meadows, one step daughter Sandy Embach, one step son Charles Embach Jr. one brother R.J.Rye all of Houston County, TN. and three grandchildren Lynn Broadbent, Amanda Schmidt,Lorne Meadows all of Erin,Tn. two step grandchildren Bryce Bosset of Arizona, Kirby Embach of Colorado.
