Irene Lasater

Irene McNeil Lasater, 90, Clarksville, formerly of Madison, AL, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Clarksville Manor Nursing Home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Spry Chapel, Huntsville, AL. Burial will be in Fowlkes Cemetery, Monrovia, AL. Visitation will be from 6-8 Friday at Spry Chapel, Huntsville, AL and from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at Spry Chapel, Hunstville, AL.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born July 24, 1917 in Monrobia, AL daughter of Jim Hilliard and Elizabeth McMurarty Hilliard. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, David McNeil and Marshall Lasater. Mrs. Lasater was a homemaker and a member of Gooch Lane Church of Christ. Survivors include her son, James Felton McNeil and his wife Wanda, Clarksville; daughter, Linda Fay Ledford and her husband, Herbert, Toney, AL; grandchildren, Melanie Ledford, Tamara McNeil and David McNeil.
