Irene Bailey Daniel, age 96 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, June 08, 2016 at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Rev. E.G. Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday.
Irene was born on January 7, 1920 in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Fred D. Bailey and Reather Chambers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Leucion Daniel; brothers and sisters, Alice Davenport, Doris Hodges, Evelyn Hale, Robert N. Bailey, Ryan Bailey, and Callis Bailey. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her son, Harry Daniel and daughter, Gay (Larry) Cohen; grandchildren, Brad (Coral) Daniel, Tiffany (Brian) Shore, Holly (Frank) Finnegan, and Daniel (Sarah) Cohen; great grandchildren, Derek Daniel, Nathan Daniel, Cameron Finnegan, Brenden Shore, Tristan Finnegan, Bailey Shore, Trevor Cohen, and Peyton Daniel.
Pallbearers will be David Daniel, Mitchell Smithey, John Hodges, Robert Hodges, and Jim Flood.
The family would like to thank the staff of Spring Meadows Healthcare Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library at 350 Pageant Lane #501 Clarksville, TN 37040.
