Henry Self

Henry Samuel Self, age 73 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 13 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. James Green officiating. Burial will follow at Center Point Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Henry entered this life on July 24, 1940 in Dickson County and was the son of the late Henry Clifton Self and Lessie Phillips Self. He retired from Acme Boot Company after 32 years.
He is survived by his wife, Aline Black; son, Greg (Heather) Self; daughters, Cindy (Richard) Thurmon and Karen (Kenny) Brown; brothers, Lloyd Self, Troy Self, and Tim Self; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Crenshaw, David Sullivan, Melvin Self, Ryan Caufield, Anthony Wilk, and John Hickman.
