Grover Stanley

Grover Stanley Sr., age 91 of Clarksville passed away on June 13, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Sango Cemetery with Rev. Brian Baggett officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:30 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Grover entered this life on June 11, 1923 and was the son of the late James and Anna Stanley. He was retired Air Force with 42 years total of Military and Civil Service. He was one of 1st Chief Master Sargent’s of the Air Force; served in WWII, Korea, and The Cuban Missile Crisis. Stanley attended Bible Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Stanley.
He is survived by his sons, Grover R. (Saunnie) Stanley Jr. of Racine, WI, Ronald (Gay) Stanley of Midwest City, OK, Rodney (Kathy) Stanley of Del City, OK, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Military will serve as pallbearers.
