Gloria Burgess

Gloria J. Burgess, 64, Clarksville, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 12 Noon Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastor Ray Barker officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. She was born December 24, 1944 in Man, WV and was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Hill Kennedy; and her husband, Wellington Henry Burgess. Mrs. Burgess was previously employed by Kids Stuff and More, and a Protestant by faith. She is survived by her father, Charles Kennedy, Turtle Creek, WV; sons, Chuck Burgess, AZ, Charles Burgess, Clarksville; daughter, Tiffany Burgess, Clarksville; sisters, Patricia Wright, Richmond, VA, Darlene Barker, Turtle Creek, WV; and her mother-in-law, Esta Burgess. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
