George Hugh Breeden

George Hugh Breeden, age 103 of Erin, TN, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Signature Healthcare of Erin while surrounded by his loving family.  

   A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating, interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.

   Family will receive friends on Monday, June 3 starting at 4:00 p.m. and again Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the service that afternoon at the funeral home.      

   Hugh entered this life on December 29, 1920 in Erin, TN to the late Henry Breeden and Ruthie Walker Breeden.

  Hugh was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served on the U.S.S Young in the Pacific Theater of World War ll. He later worked General Motors Manufacturing plants before moving home to Erin, TN.

   In addition to his parents, Hugh was preceded in death by his dear wife Vivian Wright Breeden and their son Jeffery Breeden.

   Survivors include his loving son Garland Breeden (Karen) and his grandchildren; Becky Gooden (Tim), Jeffery Breeden Jr. (Terrie), Shannon Miller (Bill), and Jessica Brayman (David). He also leaved his loving great-grandchildren; Drew Gooden (Rachel), Lawson Gooden, Waylon Breeden, Taylor McDaniel, William Miller, Emily Miller, Caitlin Miller, Addyson Brayman, Annabelle Brayman and Asher Brayman. 

   Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Gooden, Drew Gooden, Lawson Gooden, Jeffery Breeden Jr., Bill Miller an Ray Vaughn.
