Frank Perkins Miller, age 69, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022.
Frank was a loving husband and father, a man of the outdoors and what many consider a true friend.
Frank was born on July 9, 1953 in Clarksville, TN, son of John Frank Miller and Rebecca Foster Miller. Frank attended Austin Peay State University where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Following graduation, he worked at the family business, Perkins & Miller, with his father and brothers.
Later after moving to Dover, TN, Frank worked in the real estate and auction business for Bogard Realty and Auctions and a broker at Twin Lake Realty in the Paris Landing area. Frank later went to work for Phillip Traylor Auctions and Land, in Clarksville, TN as a Senior Advisor. Frank was also involved in land investments and real estate development. He along with his family formed a partnership which developed the family’s Hereford Farm in Sango, TN.
Frank was a member of the First Christian Church, the Blue Wing Hunting Club, Spout Springs Hunting Club, a lifetime member of the Clarksville F&AM Masonic lodge #89, a member of the Al Menah Shriners, Jesters Club, 32 degree member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and a member of all three bodies of the York Rite.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, John Frank Miller; mother, Rebecca Foster Miller; and brothers, John William Miller and Mark Foster Miller.
In addition to his wife, Sarah Luton Miller, survivors include his daughters Katy Rebecca Miller and Abigail Miller Scurlock and her husband Devon; sister Anne Miller Moore; and nephew, Thomas Edwin Moore.
The family has decided not to hold a formal funeral or visitation but will hold a Celebration of Life in October. More information will be announced at a later date. Feel free to contact the family to pay respects or for more information about the arrangements.
