Florence Pauline Jacobsen

Florence Pauline Gagnon Jacobsen age 97 of Erin, passed from this life on September 14, 2026. She passed peacefully at home as she was surrounded by her family.

Florence was born on March 29, 1929 daughter to the late Florent and Alice Gagnon. She was as born in Trous-Rivières in Quebec Canada. Florence came to the United States where she met and married her husband and WW2 Veteran Ralph Robert Jacobsen. They lived in California where they raised their son Christian Robert Jacobsen and they moved back here to Tennessee in 1977. Florence loved to quilt, sew, crochet, knit and travel.

Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Robert Jacobsen; her mother and father, Florent and Alice Gagnon; and her brother, Ovila Gagnon.

Survivors include her son: Chris Jacobsen (Cindy); her grandchildren: Ralph W. Jacobsen and Natalie K. Jacobsen; her sister Annette Belisle, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service held on Thursday September 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Gray Barnes Cemetery on Hurricane Loop in TN Ridge, TN with Deacon Stephen May of Saint Patrick’s Church officiating.
