Evelyn Ceceil Barnes

Evelyn Ceceil Barnes, 85 of Clarksville, TN passed away on August 15, 2026.

Memorial Gathering will be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2026, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Mount Harmony UMC Cemetery in Heaters, West Virigina.

Evelyn was born in Heaters, West Virgina on August 10, 1941; daughter of the late Pete and Floda Prince. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Barnes.

She was a faithful military wife for many years. Evelyn enjoyed traveling and was a vivid reader. She attended Little West Fork Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include her children; Charles “Bobby” Barnes and Charlene Barnes; brother, Arch Prince; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
