Eva Baggett

December 24, 1920 — February 16, 2014

Eva Lee McWhorter Baggett, age 93, went to be with her Lord on February 16, 2014 while at her home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens and Bro. Jim Graves officiating. Burial will be at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 1-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m until the hour of service.
Eva was born December 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Ida Hal and Etta Conaster McWhorter; she is also preceded in death by her husband, Louie Russell Baggett; son, Edwin Dale Baggett; son-in-laws, Ivie “Joe” Davidson, Danny Simpson; daughter–in-law Dionne M. Baggett; brothers, George McWhorter, Luther McWhorter, Herman McWhorter, Jake McWhorter, Henry McWhorter; and sisters, Florence Harrison, Vallie Hendricks, Lillie Britt, and Pearl Hodges. Eva was an active and faithful member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and retired from ACME Boot Company.
Survived by loving family; son, Phillip L. Baggett; daughters, Betty Ann Davidson, Patsy B. (Steve) Nicholson, and Linda B. Simpson; grandchildren, Kim (Brian) Taylor, Lori (Jeff) Breedlove, Tammy (Wayne) Corn, Kaye (Keith) Hunter, Scarlette (Donnie) Lomax, Russ (Josephine) McClain, Jason McClain, and Josh (Misty) Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Bishop Futrell, Bradley (Amanda) Taylor, Laramie Lomax, Kyle Taylor, Justin McClain, Kayla Hunter, Jayden McClain, Cooper Nicholson, and Sawyer Nicholson; great-great-grandson, Timothy Taylor.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Nicholson, Russ McClain, Jason McClain, Brian Taylor, Keith Hunter, and Wayne Corn. Honorary pallbearers will be Bradley Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Bishop Futrell, Harold Baggett, Henry McCullough, Jeff Breedlove, and Raleigh Sapp.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant View Baptist Church Family Life Center, Clarksville.
