Eula Mixon

Eula Mai Mixon, 92 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Slayden Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.

The Mixon family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023, and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the  funeral home.

Eula was born on May 12, 1931 in Montgomery Co, TN; daughter of the late William and Mattie Baggett Herrell. She attended Slayden Church of God of Prophecy since she was a child. Eula enjoyed playing BINGO, watching wrestling, sewing, and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and being a Mamaw to her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Coy Nesbitt Mixon; sisters, Louise Green and Betty Holt; brothers, James, Freeman, Edgar, and Verlie Herrell.

Survivors include her children; Janice (Randy) Piefke, James (Cindy) Mixon and Carolyn (Johnny) Billups; sisters, Mildred Cato and Rebecca Green; seven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
